About Hager Law
The Hager Law was founded by Sarina D. Hager, who has been practicing law since 1993. Attorney Hager has dedicated her life to family law and has advocated for Texas residents in many family-law-related matters. These include divorce, adoption, child custody agreements and modifications, child support, and much more.
Hager is supported by her wonderful team, including Fritz Hager and Lesley Neel. Fritz Hager serves as the firm’s Administrator and Legal Assistant. Mr. Hager is a decorated veteran who proudly graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He also served as a chaplain in the Texas State Guard. Mr. Hager takes the skills he learned during his military career to continue to serve the residents of East Texas. Also, he is currently enrolled at the University of North Texas College of Law.
The firm’s paralegal, Lesley Neel, has over 15 years of experience working on a variety of different cases. Including personal injury, estate planning, and federal and state criminal cases. Over the past four years, she has turned her attention to family law. She has been an asset to Hager Law, assisting in adoptions, child custody and support cases, divorce, and dealings with CPS.
Family Law Services We Provide
The Hager Law is a pillar of support in the state of Texas. Proudly serving areas such as Henderson, Gilmer, Quitman, and Tyler, Hager Law believes in putting families first. Unlike other law firms, the staff at Hager Law doesn’t see case files; they see real people with real problems who need real solutions.
The Hager Law understands how complex family law issues can be for military members. This is especially true if they are deployed overseas or to another location. Some of the most common issues plaguing this community include military-specific rules and jurisdiction, retirement benefits, and more. Oftentimes, family law cases are handled differently for veterans than they would be for civilians, which is why you need to work with a law firm that is familiar with these issues and can provide sound legal advice and representation.
Our law firm can help you with the following family law-related issues:
- Divorce
- Child support
- Alimony
- Property division
- Child custody and visitation
- Adoption
- Paternity
- Military retirement benefits
Our firm also has experience with the Servicemember’s Civil Relief Act, which can postpone legal proceedings in a family law case if an active duty member is deployed. Likewise, our firm is well-versed in helping veterans understand their rights and options when it comes to splitting up retirement pay and other assets in a divorce.
In addition, our firm proudly works with first responders and their child custody agreements. When you’re going through a divorce, splitting up parenting time can be an emotional process, to say nothing of trying to coordinate a schedule that fits your unique hours and shifts. If you’re dealing with a child custody battle, it is important to have an experienced family law attorney by your side who can advocate for your rights.
